The ‘Scrubs’ Crew Reunited For A Day To Remind Us How Old We All Are Now

Scrubs

It has somehow been eight years since Scrubs wrapped up on our telly screens – eight whole years since the adventures of those quirky med-students turned doctors (and janitor) at Sacred Heart Hospital came to an end. So, a simple picture of the whole cast reuniting for the first time in a long time is making a couple of us real bloody emotional.

The cast along with creator Bill Lawrence appeared at the Vulture Festival over the weekend to chat about the show’s legacy and possible future.

Of the latter, Lawrence said he’s not too interested in a full reboot.

“I would do anything to get to work with not only this group [but the entire crew]…it was the best time in my life,” he said according to The Hollywood Reporter. “[But] sometimes reboots — not all the time — feel like a money grab.”

Fair point.

“If we ever do it, we’ll do it as a short little movie or something else,” he continued. “I think the problem from me is I would just want to see where everyone is. I would want to see where their marriages are [as opposed to a huge event].”

In other words, if a revival has to happen it’ll be a short film but as things stand, don’t get your hopes up.

Of course, none of this stopped Braff from messing with us. The actor posted this lovely shot of the cast with the caption: “Season 10?”

Stop IT.

Left to right, that’s the beautiful Judy Reyes who starred as nurse Carla Espinosa, John C. McGinley as absolute bloke Dr. Perry Cox, Zach Braff as J.D., Neil Flynn as the Janitor, Sarah Chalke as Elliot Reid, then you have creator Lawrence and goddamn Ken Jenkins who starred as the lovable Chief of Medicine Doc Bob Kelso, Donald Faison as Turk, and Robert Maschio as The Todd – who’s still lowkey showing off those guns.

Since we’re all here.

HOW HAS IT BEEN EIGHT YEARS?
