Modern Family star and near-perfect human being Sarah Hyland has been dating ex-Bachelorette cast member Wells Adams (yeh, those two words are supposed to be in that order, I checked) for a few months now and today revealed how the two first sparked a flame.
And it turns out whilst non-famous plebs like you and I have to scroll through endless Tinder profiles, trying to identify which person in the group photo we’re supposed to be swiping, peeps like Hyland simply wait for handsome, ripped dues to slide into their DMs.
Talking to Jimmy Kimmel overnight Sarah was discussing her newish boo when she revealed how the meet went down:
He slid into my DMs… we had like, tweeted each other, because I thought he was funny and he was a fan of the show. I was single and was like “this is really awesome and you’re being very forward and sexy and confident”.
[He messaged] “next time I’m in LA I’m taking you out for drinks and tacos” and I love tacos so…
WELP. Turns out sliding into a hot celebs DMs only works if you too are a hot celeb. No wonder Troye Sivan keeps ignoring me..
