
Australia’s delegated P!nk interviewer, Rove McManus will reportedly return to Australian television later this year to replace Charlie Pickering as the host of The Project, a potty-mouthed current affairs program which is never not screening on Channel 10.
According to News Limited, thrice Gold Logie winner McManus is set to sign a contract today with the network that’ll see him reunited with his Rove Live contemporaries Carrie Bickmore and Peter Helliar, alongside a revolving door of other Rove Live affiliated talent should they stick around to the middle of August.
Rove’s recent first foray into international waters, an American improv-comedy game show inappropriately named Riot, received one of the poorest debut audiences ever garnered on a major US network and was subsequently axed after four episodes.
