Spruiked as “a cross between The Office and Extras,” (double awesome times?) Life’s Too Short is a new comedy in which Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant belittle the little people. According to the BBC the show will take the form of “a fake documentary telling the story of Warwick Davis and his talent agency, Dwarves for Hire. In the show Warwick uses the agency to steal all the best work for himself. Davis will play an alternate version of himself, who is “desperate, conniving, fame-hungry and self-centred, but always gets his comeuppance.”
The six-part series premieres on BBC Two later this year. Watch the teaser below…
