Combine There Will Be Blood’s expansive cinematic scope with the gun slinging mayhem of Sergio Leone’s back catalogue and you’ve got Red Dead Redemption, the latest offering from Rockstar Games.
It’s pretty much Grand Theft Auto re-imagined as a Spaghetti Western so instead of carjacking you’ll be horsejacking (wait, that doesn’t sound right), dueling with revolvers and shotguns instead of rocket launchers and semi-automatics and drinking at grimy saloons instead of seedy strip clubs. Also there won’t be any helicopters or mobile phones…or Crips. A welcome change I’m sure. Don your cowboy boots and check out the trailer below…
