Quentin Tarantino Made A Long Ass Playlist Of All His Fave Tunes From His Movies

Quentin Tarantino

Quentin Tarantino has made an extremely stacked playlist of all his favourite music from his films, for – I assume – when you’re in the mood to draw up a certain list / avenge your murdered kin.

Taking over Spotify’s Film & TV Favourites playlist, it begins with an introduction from Tarantino himself. The playlist doesn’t have all the songs on it, just his absolute faves.

“So sit back, relax, and move into the soundscape of a Quentin Tarantino movie,” he said. “You may never want to leave.”

Expect a number of wildly iconic tunes from the Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2 soundtracks including Nancy Sinatra‘s ‘Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)’, my absolute favourite ‘Twisted Nerve‘ by Bernard Herrmann – perfect for whenever you’re feeling a bit psycho -, and The 5.6.7.8’s ‘Woo Hoo’.

In fine Tarantino fashion, the playlist is over three hours long. That’s 70 songs, more than enough to thrust you into the weekend.

Unsurprisingly, the playlist already has over a million followers.

Once Upon A Time … in Hollwood, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and Margot Robbie, will hit Aussie cinemas August 15.

The ninth film by Tarantino takes place in 1969 Los Angeles and follows TV star Rick Dalton (DiCaprio) and his stunt double Cliff (Pitt) as they struggle to adapt to an ever-changing industry, while Sharon Tate (Robbie) is rising to fame and infamous cult leader Charles Manson (Damon Herriman) is at large.

Once Upon A Time … In Hollywood also stars [inhales deeply] Dakota Fanning, Austin Butler, Emile Hirsch, Scoot McNairy, Al Pacino, Nicholas Hammond, Spencer Garrett, Mike Moh, Lena Dunham, Damian Lewis, Bruce Dern, Kurt Russell, Timothy Olyphant, Zoë Bell, James Marsden, Michael Madsen, James Remar, Brenda Vaccaro, and Luke Perry.
