Oh my gad, you guys. YOU GUYS. It’s finally happening.
We’ve seen and heard a bunch about the new season of American Horror Story: Hotel, including images of an extremely glamorous Gaga on the set, and the stories about her throwing a horror-themed pool party for the cast and crew, which included a pool filled with “blood”.
Now, Entertainment Weekly have posted the first professional images and descriptions of the Hotel characters, complete with descriptions – and it looks fucking phenomenal.
Behold:
LADY GAGA, AS ‘THE COUNTESS’
The owner of the Hotel Cortez, who happens to have a disease which makes her thirst for sex and human blood (obvz). The glamorous countess is not a vampire though (she doesn’t have any fangs), so she kills with a chainmail glove.
EVAN PETERS, AS ‘MR. MARCH’
In typical AHS fashion, the timeline of the season won’t be linear. James March is the original builder and owner of Hotel Cortez in the 1930’s, who ‘designed the hotel to cater to his specific needs, which tend towards the dark evil.’
MATT BOMER, AS ‘DONOVAN’
Donovan is The Countess’ lover of 20 years. However, he’s reached a stage where he’s ready to settle down and nest – but that doesn’t go over too well with her hankering for human blood and rampant sexual appetite.
ANGELA BASSETT, AS ‘RAMONA ROYALE’
A film star, who used to be romantically engaged with The Countess. She and Donovan plan revenge, after The Countess begins a sexual relationship with a male model, Tristan.
KATHY BATES, AS ‘IRIS’
Donovan‘s extremely overprotective mother, who works at the hotel so she can see her son – even though he despises her.
SARAH PAULSON, AS ‘HYPODERMIC SALLY’
A heroin junkie who is extremely selfish, and one of the more tragic figures who resides at Hotel Cortez.
CHEYENNE JACKSON, AS ‘WILL DRAKE’
A New York fashion designer, who comes to Hotel Cortez looking for inspiration, along with his son Lachlan. Until he meets The Countess.
WES BENTLEY, AS ‘JOHN LOWE’
A LAPD detective, who moves into the Hotel Cortez with his paediatrician wife (Chloe Sevigny) to investigate a series of murders by the ‘Ten Commandments Killer’. The darkness of the hotel ends up overwhelming him and his family.
FINN WINTROCK, AS ‘TRISTAN’
A male model, who is willingly seduced and turned by The Countess during a fashion show at Hotel Cortez.
MAX GREENFIELD, AS ‘GABRIEL’
A ‘Hollywood junkie’, who checks into Hotel Cortez and has an unforgettable experience.
and NAOMI CAMPBELL, AS ‘CLAUDIA’
A Vogue editor (of course), who stays at Hotel Cortez and regrets it.
American Horror Story: Hotel premieres in the US on October 7th and on Network Ten’s ELEVEN from October 12 at 9.30pm.
