James Rebhorn who is, most recently, known for his portrayal of Claire Danes’ father on Homeland, but also for his prolific five-decade long career in film, television and theatre, has passed away at age 65 after a long battle with skin cancer.
R.I.P. James Rebhorn. Great film and TV character actor. You may remember him as Dr. Sultan in Regarding Henry.

James Rebhorn, RIP. One of the great “Oh, it’s that guy” actors. http://t.co/3hfH6RZeRF

Rebhorn, who famously locked Elaine, Jerry, George and Kramer up, in the season finale of Seinfeld, will forever be a recognisable face to film and theatre fans and was known as one of the best character actors kicking around Hollywood, often playing somewhere on the WASP spectrum.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Rebecca Linn and his two daughters Emma Rebhorn and Hannah Rebhorn, and will be forever remembered by us mere fans as
‘that guy from everything.’
