OMFG: ‘American Horror Story’ Is Gearing Up For An Entire Crossover Season

American Horror Story has been working towards a wild future theory that connects each season together, with co-creator Ryan Murphy already revealing that Lady Gaga‘s character this season is the Original Supreme, and makes up part of the sinew that will eventually tie all the seasons together.

Now he’s dropped the even bigger bombshell that a bonafide crossover season is coming.
Murphy told the crowd at Entertainment Weekly‘s Popfest on Sunday that an up-coming season will feature characters from Murder House (Season 1) and Coven (Season 3) as part of the main plot-line.

“There will be characters from ‘Murder House’ and characters from ‘Coven’ together,” he said.

“I’ve [already] started going to actors from both of the seasons, quietly, saying, ‘I think in this window, if you could fit us in. So yeah, it’s fun. It’s weird.”

Conceivably, that means S1’s Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton, Kate Mara, Alexandria Breckenridge and Zachary Quinto could all return, plus S3’s Gabourey Sidibe.

Also – and this is a real stretch here – it COULD hail the return of Jessica Lange. Everybody knows she made those seasons, and – to borrow a line from Game of Thrones here – in Ryan Murphy’s world, what is dead may never die.
Keep in mind that the Murder House-Coven (Murder Coven?) crossover season WON’T be the next one, which has already been green lit. However, that leaves the possibility that this is the super secret season Murphy’s been working on wiiiiide open.
