ATTN: Simpsons trivia nerds: there’s a new character for you to commit to memory.
The latest addition to the cast was revealed quietly in the latest installment of The Simpsons smartphone game, Tapped Out: Chester Dupree, the slacker brother-in-law of Dr. Julius Hibbert. Dupree was referred to in the Season 24 episode Gone Abie Gone, when Dr. Hibbert refers to a shed he paid Chester to build. That half-finished shed appears in the just-released Level 41 of Tapped Out.
The show’s promised more excitement for later in the year: the upcoming season will include an episode written by Judd Apatow way back in the ’90s, as well as a Simpsons-Family Guy crossover ep.
