New iPhone 6 Plus Feature Makes It Bend In Your Pocket

Up until now, the biggest problem with keeping an iPhone in your pocket was lint collecting in the charging port – seriously, I don’t know if you’ve ever been in this predicament, but it’s annoying as hell and requires you to dig around in there forever.
The new aluminum iPhone 6 Plus, however, has presented users with a far more serious concern – its lightweight body appears to be straight-up bending and warping in when subjected to any kind of pressure.
Earlier today, the MacRumours blog published several photos and accounts from frustrated users. One wrote:
Yesterday, I left at 10am with the iPhone in my left FRONT pocket of my suit pants. I drove 4 hours to a wedding, which also involved a lot of sitting during dinner etc but also 2-3 hours of dancing. I left at 2am and went to bed, driving home 4 hours back.

So in total, the 6 Plus was about 18 hours in my pocket while sitting mostly.

As I lay it on the coffee table and sat down on the couch to relax from the drive (yes, sitting again ), I saw the reflection of the window in the iPhones slightly distorted.

Some have even complained that bumping into somebody was enough to do the trick. For those of who whose lifestyles require a lot of driving, cutting moves on the dance floor or being around people in confined spaces, this could potentially be a big problem.
Following this morning’s reports, YouTuber Unbox Therapy decided to carry out a test for himself, to see just how easily when the device will warp when subjected to forces.
Admittedly, it looks like he applied some elbow grease to it, but the result still showed a pretty noticeable amount of bending near the volume buttons.
Since the launch of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus earlier this month, the devices have reached combined sales of more than 10 million units.
If you’re one of these people, you may want to consider removing your Plus from your pocket before grinding on Drake or any other rapper, unless you’re Nicki and can afford an infinite supply of iPhones, in which case, go apeshit.
