Imagine: you’re a grown man who just married the love of your life. The Italian ceremony took you through lush gardens, but nothing was as perfect and vibrant as the promise you made to each other. Nothing ever could be.
The photographer sends you a preview shot. It’s beautiful, and you know it. But she didn’t marry you just for your looks – after all, your humour helped win her over. Beaming, you share the photo online, along with a self-deprecating caption.
Not only did I miss @ArcticMonkeys in LA but they were performing in Italy at the same time we were there and my wife made me get married instead. Fuming. pic.twitter.com/VEZfTkizBa

You flash that cheeky grin and pocket your phone.
Some time later – maybe you’re waiting at the airport before your honeymoon, maybe you woke up before she did and couldn’t possibly disturb someone sleeping so peacefully – you check social media.
You’re greeted with this.

Such is the life of Matthew Lewis, the grown-ass man who recently tied the knot with his beloved Angela Jones.
Outside of getting hitched, Lewis bears the dubious honour of playing middling child wizard Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films. Perhaps more importantly in terms of his post-Potter career, Lewis has also distinguished himself with a hall of fame glow-up.
Which is why the post about his wedding – and we’d venture to say any post he’d made about anything – has been flooded with references to his time in that massive film franchise.
Congratulations to the happy couple. We hope there will come a day when references to kids’ books do not fill their waking days.
