To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is based on the New York Times Best Selling novel by Jenny Han. It tells the story of one Lara Jean Song Covey (Lana Condor), a girl who like any one else has had some intense crushes throughout her life. To temporary rid herself of the feels, she writes each boy a love letter and stashes it away in her room.

There are five love letters in total for the five boys.

Peter the most popular guy in school, Kenny from camp, Lucas from homecoming, John Ambrose from Model UN, and Josh…”

Not to complicate things at all, Josh is also Lara Jean’s older sister’s boyfriend.

What could go wrong? Well, the five love letters mysteriously get sent to the five dudes and holy shit – hot mess alert.

Also, John Corbett AKA Aidan from Sex and the City and Ian from My Big Fat Greek Wedding plays Lara Jean’s dad and I love it.

DREAMY, DREAMY, DREAMY.

Guys, my lil’ Asian self is fucking delighted with this representation.

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before hits Netflix, August 17. Not long now.

In other very important coming-of-age Netflix movie news, Shannon Purser AKA Barb from Stranger Things has a bloody quality flick coming out on the streaming giant. It’s called Sierra Burgess Is A Loser and involves some extreme catfishing but with feels.

This prime example of Netflix using their power for good comes out September 7.
