Netflix’s ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ Is 100% Yr Next Dreamy Romcom

People may say the romantic comedy is on its way out but Netflix has obviously not gotten the memo because the streaming giant just keeps on pumping out romcom after romcom. At the present, Set It Up is doing the rounds and copping pretty good reviews for its delightful cast and just plain adorable storyline and before that, The Kissing Boothwas a thing.

Then earlier this week we found out Netflix will gift us another royally-themed Christmas flick this December because A Christmas Prince was just far too good. Not to mention the sequel to that fabulous film is also due out later this year.

The point is – we’re absolutely feeling the love – which is why we’re very excited to learn another romcom is fast approaching and it looks DELIGHTFUL.

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is based on the young adult novel by Jenny Han and tells the story of Lara Jean Song Covey (Lana Condor). Lara Jean has five love letters written to the five boys she’s loved throughout her life.

“Peter with the beautiful eyes, Kenny from camp, Lucas from homecoming, John Ambrose from Model UN, and Josh… the boy next door.”

What could go wrong? Well, the five letters somehow get sent to the five dudes and wham bam – teen nightmare alert.

The novel spent a casual 40 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller List so gather the wine and your mates.

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before will land on Netflix August 17.

But if you need something with a little more ooomph then Netflix also just uploaded the trailer for How It Ends – an apocalyptic flick starring very handsome man Theo James and absolute bloody legend Forest Whitaker.

This baby will hit Netflix July 13.

By the looks of it, How It Ends  seems like your classic Saturday night action movie and ticks all the boxes:

  • Mysterious apocalypse.
  • Man and estranged father-in-law must team up to save pregnant wife/ daughter at the centre of apocalypse.
  • Father-in-law happens to be a big ol’ army guy.
  • Blood and guts and gore.

Simple, easy, does the job.
