Natalie Portman Says Female Director For Ruth Bader Ginsburg Biopic Or GTFO


Talented actress, super babe and all around good human Natalie Portman is starring in the upcoming biopic about feminist icon and the first Jewish female Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg
According to the Independent, Portman simply insisting that the film must have a female director, and delaying filming until the role was secured by a woman. The film will now be directed by Marielle Heller. 
Ginsburg herself made the statement, saying that Natalie spoke to her about the issue of the lack of opportunities for female directors in the film industry:
“Natalie Portman came to talk to me about it (the film), and we had a very good conversation, and one thing, interesting, that she insisted on – it held up the project for a while… She said, ‘I want the director to be a woman. There are not enough women in this industry. There are many talented out there’. And now they do have a woman director,” Ginsburg said.
