Fuck yeah, science. The spiritual, nominal (and balding) heads of cult Discovery Channel truth-seeking troupe MythBusters – Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage – are to visit the country in August, headlining a national run of live events taking place this August in Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane.
The explosion prone debunkers of farfetched urban legends, sketchy old wives’ tales and Hollywood’s understanding of physics will headline an exclusive series of live shows called Behind The Myth.
A total of eight shows are scheduled to occur, two in each of Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and one apiece for Adelaide and Perth, promising what a press release today describes as “fantastical evening of on-stage experiments, audience participation, rocking video and behind-the-scenes stories.”
We can only hope for some of this action…
