We fulfilled a major teen girl fantasy of ours last week (you’re next Bieber!) when we spoke with the beguiling human meme known as Michael Cera (Juno, Arrested Development, Scott Pilgrim Vs The World). Currently in Sydney for a two week run of Kenneth Lonergan’s proto-hipster stage play, This Is Our Youth, helmed by prolific off-Broadway director, Mark Brokaw, and co-starring Scott Pilgrim alumn Kieran Culkin, the charming one sat down to discuss the writing advice of his Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz, his next movie in Chile and the “brutal” few minutes before curtains.
