Just those names alone and you’ve got such titles as Good Time, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Captain America, Avengers, Twilight, Alice in Wonderland, Jane Eyre, and Tracks.

Written by Donald Ray Pollock, The Devil All The Time is on par with the vibes that title gives. It’s set in rural southern Ohio and follows a bunch of characters in both the aftermath of World War II and 1960s America.

In one corner you have Willard Russell, a haunted veteran who turns to religious prayer and sacrifice to save his dying wife from cancer.  In another you’ve got Carl and Sandy Henderson… a married couple who are also twisted serial killers. There’s also a corrupt local sheriff and a preacher.

Sounds fun.

Per Deadline‘s exclusive, Holland is in talks to play Willard’s son Arvin while Evans eyes the role of corrupt sheriff.

The film adaption will be helmed by Antonio Campos the director behind Simon Killer, Christine, and Afterschool. Jake Gyllenhaal, villain in the upcoming 2019 Spider-Man: Far From Home movie, will produce the film alongside Randall Poster.

Production will kick off in early 2019.

Have a suss on GoodReads and you’ll see the novel’s real disturbing, dark, and twisted as hell. You can suss the book on Amazon Australia, HERE

Wasikowska recently teamed up with Pattinson for the indie film Damsel. The movie did pretty well with all the big names in the film critic industry so if you’re interested then you give the trailer a suss, below.
