In VERY IMPORTANT news for those who considered Peggy Olson’s brief Australian vacation to be important, e.g. us, twice Emmy nominated Mad Men co-star Christina Hendricks will be visiting the country in October to help judge the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition, it has been announced. The “proud spec wearer” will appear at an invite only launch event in Sydney next month where one bespectacled loser Aussie will make up for a lifetime of “four eyes” insults by winning a trip to Los Angeles where Hendricks will personally mentor them at a photoshoot.
“I’m really looking forward to coming to Australia and being a part of the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition,” Hendricks said. “It’s a great initiative that encourages people to be proud and confident of wearing their glasses.”
