I’m a massive apologist for the fourth season of ‘Arrested Development‘; it had so much hype to live up to and seemed a bit flat on the first viewing but, on giving it a second crack, I reckon it’s very almost as funny as the first three seasons and frankly I am stoked as all fuck for the next season.
News about the show is thin as hell at this point, with creator Mitch Hurwitz giving us vague indications that they might start filming early 2017, but we’ve finally got some good news that’s a bit more tangible.
The absolutely delightful and wonderful Jessica Walter who plays Lucille Bluth on the show (and is also fucking amazing as Malory Archer in ‘Archer‘) has confirmed that the whole cast will be back for the fifth season, which is good, because cast members ditching is generally a sure sign that a show is going down the toilet.
Season 5 is going to be on Netflix again and should be available in bulk around four months after whenever filming finishes up.
