On Saturday, Lorde took the SNL stage with Disclosure to perform their certified bop “Magnets” for the first time.
Unsurprisingly, it was a ***flawless performance, complete with signature twitchy dance moves and all. I mean, check it out:

Apparently, Lorde delivered vocals so on-point that people began to speculate that she’d actually mimed the performance, but Lorde wasn’t having any of it.
Taking to Twitter, she quickly shut down the rumours, tweeting:

So that’s that. Lorde has never lip synched. Lorde will never lip synch. But like, thanks for calling her vocals CD-quality.
