‘The Land Before Time’ Is Now On Netflix, So Take Me To The Fucking Great Valley Already

The Land Before Time is now available on Netflix and nothing else matters anymore.

We’re all cooped up in isolation, so there’s really no better time to kick back with a bowl of popcorn and a bottle of wine and cry your heart out over cartoon dinosaurs.

Sure, Tiger King was great, but if you’re looking for something a little less fucked up and a little more wholesome-yet-tear-jerking, Netflix has finally added the beloved dinosaur flick.

It’s been a tough year and we’re all just about ready to yeet ourselves back to the Jurassic era, so why not do it with the most wholesome dinosaur film of all time? Netflix has truly done us all a solid by adding this to the catalogue during isolation.

If you didn’t grow up watching this 1988 tear-jerking classic, it follows the story of a young, orphaned “longneck” dinosaur named Littlefoot, who flees his home in search for the Great Valley. Along the way, he finds four other bebe dinosaurs to join him on his journey. It’s some truly heartwarming stuff.

Honestly, Littlefoot’s mother’s death is up there with one of the saddest moments in film history. If you’re not crying, you’re a heartless monster.

Not to mention, it’s executive produced by both Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, which is obviously a recipe for success.

If you’re still not convinced, it also still holds a 72% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes and a whopping 79% audience score, which is not too shabby for a movie that’s 30 years old.

So what are you still doing here? Go on, go watch it. You know you want to.

Let’s be real, you were already planning on spending your entire weekend on the couch watching Netflix, so why not relive your childhood while you’re at it?
