Dramatic actress and unknowable Twilight sphinx Kristen Stewart has announced that she is taking some time out from movies, and is just going to do Kristen for a while.
The Guardian report that Stewart is over the acting thing, and after making 10 films in the past four years – a number that seems way too high but is confirmed by IMDB – she’ll be taking a break to do her own thing.
“I’m an actor and that’s my art form, and because I started so young, I’ve always felt intimidated and insufficient when I think about other forms of art I want to create,” she said. “I’m going to take so much time off.”
As for what she plans to do, Stewart said that she is going to buy “a live-work space in downtown LA” and then make a bunch of stuff with her hands.”I don’t know how I’ll put it out. But I’m not going to hold it so preciously close to me,” she said.
“Now, I really have no apprehension about anything, which is great,” she continued. “I can get behind all of my creative endeavours more so than ever before. I’m super happy and challenged and inspired and relaxed.”
Stewart earned an estimated $34 million US at the height of the teen vampire movie craze, soooo … yeah, she can pretty much afford to do whatever she wants at this point, and fuck everybody else.
As for the rest of her Twilight pals, beautiful, dumb werewolf Taylor Lautner recently appeared in a BBC sitcom called Cuckoo, and played the pivotal role of Frat Boy Andy (Uncredited) in Grown Ups 2.
Angsty abstinence vampire Robert Pattinson was in the gritty Australian film The Rover this year, and will soon appear alongside Julianne Moore and Mia Wasikowska in the presigious as hell-looking Maps To The Stars.
