Earlier this month, we reported on the final and definitive death of true love, as reality star Kourtney Kardashian and cold, dead eyes-haver Scott Disick finally parted ways for good.
Disick briefly checked into rehab before deciding that’s for quitters, then proceeded to go on a Fear And Loathing In Beverly Hills-style rampage that has been called the “bender of his life”.
In the past couple of weeks, Disick has cancelled a series of club appearances, including an Atlantic City event at which he would have been paid $50,000 for simply showing up.
A Kardashian hanger-on has still gotta eat, though, and as of right now, it appears that Kourtney will remain Scott’s meal ticket for many years to come.
The pair, who were a couple for nine years but never married, have three children together – Mason, five, Penelope, three, and Reign, seven months.
Gossip monsters Page Six report that, while 36-year-old Kardashian intends to apply for sole custody, 32-year-old Disick is likely to receive visitation, and will be entitled to “continuous payouts” from her, since she’s the higher earner.
“Children have the right to live in the lifestyle of both parents regardless of where they are. While Scott may only have the kids 10 percent of the time, because [Kourtney] is such a high-income earner it’s very likely she would pay him child support. If Scott wants it and pushes it he will likely get child support from her.”
Said person also added that:
“Kourtney has to fear her reputation and her status as a public figure. She likely has her own skeletons that Scott can use as a way of negotiating.”
