Two More Industry Figures Come Forward To Accuse Kevin Spacey Of Groping

At least two male entertainment industry figures have alleged inappropriate sexual behaviour by Kevin Spacey, after Anthony Rapp’s statement that Spacey made a sexual advance on him when he was 14 years old.

Documentary filmmaker Tony Montana has accused Spacey of groping him in 2003, telling Radar Online the incident occurred while he was at a Los Angeles bar.

“He was telling me to come with him, to leave the bar,” Montana says.

“He put his hand on my crotch forcefully and grabbed my whole package.”

The Overnight director states Spacey told him the groping “designates ownership”, and that he physically removed the actor’s hand from his crotch.

Later, Spacey allegedly followed him into the toilets, at which point Montana “backed him out the door and I pushed him.” Montana states Spacey only left after he told the actor’s friends to take him home.

On the alleged incident’s lingering impact, Montana said he sought therapy, and that “it still feels awkward. I still feel what I felt then.

“I put it into the back of my mind until I saw [Rapp] come forward.”

On Monday, Mexican actor Roberto Cavazos also took to Facebook to level similar claims against Spacey.

Speaking about his experiences at London’s The Old Vic theatre – where Spacey served as artistic director for 11 years, wrapping up in 2015 – Cavazos said “I myself had a couple of unpleasant encounters with Spacey that were on the edge of being called harassment,” and described Spacey “squeezing whoever caught his attention.

“That’s how it happened to me the second time.”

However, Cavazos also used his message to highlight Spacey’s alleged actions towards others. He claims Spacey invited young actors to meet and discuss their careers, but “when they arrived at the theatre, the gentleman had prepared a picnic with champagne on the stage, beautifully lit.”

“Each story varied in how far the picnic came, but the technique was the same.”

(For the purpose of this article, portions of Cavazo’s post were translated from Spanish via Google Translate.)

Spacey has addressed Rapp’s allegation by saying if he did act as described, “I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behaviour.”

He has not responded to the allegations from Montana nor Cavazo.
