YES KANYE!
After less than 24 hours notice, Kanye West has put on his Yeezy Season 4 show in New York City.
The show, which featured both standing and walking models, was held in Roosevelt Park on the Lower East Side.
And, erm, the area that Ye chose to have his show just happened to be a GIANT FUCKING TRIANGLE.
Considering Yeezy only did his casting call less than a week ago, there was, once again, an unbelievable amount of models.
Around 30 or so models stood in the middle of triangle, mainly wearing leotards and skin-tight body suits, while a number of other models walked the length of the triangle showing off the wider S4 range to the tune of a dramatic vocal performance.
Kanye showed a bunch of oversized jackets and baggy pants, mixed with a range of bodycon dresses and tapered pants.
His shoe range was almost all boots – he showed more clear heels, skin-tight calf-high and thigh-high white boots – but we’re frothin’ over those dope as hell thigh high boots that looked as though they were made from gladwrap.
One of Ye’s fave models, Amina Blue seemed to get a dud pair of her clear strappy heels (similar to the Yeezy Season 2 Lucite heels) – her shoe appeared to snap, and she stumbled to take them off while a group of models waited behind her.
The show, unlike Season 3, wrapped up quickly and only lasted approximately 15-20 minutes. It did seem to run late though, starting a hour later than advertised.
Kanye came out at the end, and grinned the whole way down the runway – as he should’ve, because S4 was absolutely bloody gorgeous.
