As Jessica Jones and The Punisher come to an end (…at Netflix), fans have descended into full on mourning. Mourning for Jessica’s iconic jacket, the general moodiness of the series, and for a brilliantly dressed villain, otherwise known as Kilgrave (David Tennant).

If your memory’s a bit foggy, Kilgrave is the cruel and delusional antagonist in season one. After being defeated in the season’s final episode, fans weren’t sure if they’d see him again but they did in a series of hallucinations in Jessica’s mind. Now, excellent showrunner Melissa Rosenberg has hinted the Purple Man might be making one last twisted appearance.
“Not quite yet,” Rosenberg wrote in response to a fan who who tweeted “Goodbye again, Kilgrave”.

Meanwhile Krysten Ritter, otherwise known as the Jessica Jones, took to her Instagram to celebrate the final season’s table read.
“I love these people to the moon and back. It has been a dream to play Jessica alongside my amazing cast and the best crew in the business for these past 5 years,” she wrote. “I am so grateful for every second of it. We have THE BEST fans. You guys mean the world to me and I appreciate you beyond words.”
“I am proud of how we complete JJ’s journey. I can’t wait for you all to see it. Stay tuned and more to come,” she added.
And in some related news, Netflix’s decision to axe The Punisher absolutely pissed Eminem right off.
