If it feels like we’ve been waiting a while for this…. we have. The first season of Jessica Jones was released in 2015, while in the meantime, Jessica (Krysten Ritter) teamed up with Luke Cage and Danny Rand in Marvel’s The Defenders. Now it looks like she’s back to working as a private detective, uncovering people’s secrets by either stealth or force.

New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave,” says Netflix. “Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.”

But Kilgrave, played deliciously by David Tennant, is coming back in some way. It’s not sure how (flashbacks, probably?), but Tennant confirmed that he’s back in season two, as this set photo confirmed.

Thirteen episodes are coming your way in March, people (and all of them directed by a woman). Prepare yourself.
