Since announcing their split – ahem, I mean, their ‘loving choice to separate as a couple’ – over a week ago, both Channing and Jenna Dewan-Tatum have been silent on social media, which, fair enough.
While Channing’s still keeping a low profile, Jenna has today posted a simple pic to Instagram to thank her fans for the support.
“Thank you guys for all your love,” she wrote. “Love you right back.”
Let’s analyse the picture choice for a second. While post break-up, most of us might upload a flurry of Instagram stories from a night out, or, in our more angsty moments, a picture of breakup poetry, Dewan’s gone with a classic, regal reflective ‘walking on the beach’ shot. It’s giving me real Big Little Lies vibes, tbh.
In case you need reminding, the two met in 2005 on the set of Step Up, and had been together ever since. A few days after announcing the split, Jenna told The Daily Mail via a rep that any rumours of cheating/other tomfoolery are “completely untrue”.
