Over the weekend, embattled YouTuber James Charles broke his silence following Tati Westbrook’s 40 minute take-down with a tell-all video of his own.

In the vid, the 19-year-old addressed the damning allegations made against him by both Tati and fellow beauty blogger Jeffree Star, in particular an incident with a waiter at Westbrook’s birthday party.
Charles said:
“I am a 19-year-old virgin. I have never and will never use my fame, money, or my power to manipulate or get any sexual actions from a guy. That is disgusting. That is not me. The fact that Tati brought this up blows my mind.”
He also called out singer Zara Larsson, who has been critical of him this past week, claiming that he slid into her boyfriend’s DMs.
He said:
“Why is it okay for Zara Larsson, a woman, with the public platform to tweet these photos of a shirtless man and say ‘Who are you? How old are you? Where do you live? Why are you so fine? How do you like your eggs cooked in the morning?’ But for me as a gay man to DM the same person in private with a compliment is predatory?”

He later posted a series of tweets explaining that the reason behind the video is “NOT to start a war, but to take responsibility for my actions.”
I made my video today NOT to start a war, but to take responsibility for my actions & clear my name. There ARE two sides to every story, & now you’ve heard both. I’m sure more will be said, but I’m moving on. You can form your opinions, but PLEASE do not send any hate to anyone.

I’m literally begging all of you. The internet has seen enough negativity in the last few weeks. Text your friends and tell them you love them. Give someone a compliment (but don’t be too forward)! Appreciate what you have and those around you. ❤️ love you all

Westbrook also had her say via her Twitter, firing off the following tweets:
I’ve left town on a digital break to heal & pray for healing on all sides. My family made me aware of what was just posted & I’m disappointed to see it littered with so many lies & half truths. I stand by my videos – do not twist my words into what they are not, hear the message.

I’m working on not reacting out of anger & working through patience for what this right thing to do is. 🙏🏻❤️ I remind you all… as I remind myself to do what you can to lead with kindness.

In the meantime, shade queen Jeffree Star, of course, had to put his two cents in.
The fellow beauty blogger warned fans not to “believe anything that was said today.”

However, today Star revoked his involvement in the drama via a video which he described as “one of the most important videos” he’ll ever upload.
You’ll never believe it, but Star actually backs down in the vid, saying that the recent scandal was “a huge wake-up call to reel me in,” confessing that he is completely done with the “tea, and the drama.”
It’s literally almost 14 minutes of Star explaining that he’s turned over a new leaf and no longer wants anything to do with the beef and I say good on him.

Star’s video seemingly struck a cord with Westbrook who shared a long and passionate speech on social media, explaining that she “will not be making any further public comments.”
She hopes that the YouTuber community “is somehow strengthened from all of this madness” and she even apologises for “all of the hate this brought to our doorstep.”

And in a final (?) ceasefire, Charles acknowledged both of his colleagues’ vids with a tweet saying that he is “on board to move on” and “will not speak about this further”.
Thank you @jeffreestar & @glamlifeguru for your sentiments. I am on board to move on, will not speak about this further, but do hope to speak in the future when we’re all ready. This week was awful for all of us and I ask that the community focuses on positivity moving forward ❤️

Call me a pessimist but something tells me this isn’t the last we’ll hear about this beef but you’ve gotta give ’em props for at least wanting to move on.
