Snoop Dogg is on the record as a pretty avid Game Of Thrones fan – he once got super high with Seth Rogen and recapped the show, and in a recent interview, said that the character he’d most like to get blazed with is Tyrion Lannister, because “he knows how to party.”
During a recent interview with the New York Post, however, Snoop let slip that he maybe sort kinda believes that Thrones is based on real-life historical events?
When asked about his love of the show, the Doggfather replied: “I watch it for historic reasons, to try to understand what this world was based on before I got here. I like to know how we got from there, to here, and the similarities between then and now.”
The journalist, trying to play it off diplomatically, asked Snoop what parallels he draws between the fictional show and the modern world. “That kings still rule and a bitch fucked everything up, in every situation!” came the reply.
Kings and would-be kings in Game Of Thrones tend to get bumped off all the bloody time, but if the bitch he’s referring to is Joffrey, then I guess we’ll take that.
Who wants to be the first to break it to Snoop that dragons and ice zombies never actually existed? Bags it not being us.
