Culinary-flavoured Australian reality television has now reached its logical conclusion, with an ode to the traditional Aussie BBQ i.e. our attempt at culture.

In what could prove to be the perfect storm, judges Robert Murphy, Jess Pryles and Ben O’Donoghue will be on a weekly trip to judge meals of meat, fish, or other foods being cooked al fresco on a rack over an open fire.

The show that, whether knowingly or not, serves as a large ‘well FUUUUK YOU’ to vegetarians and clearly uses the word ‘heroes’ very loosely, is putting up $100,000 in prize money and will be “COMING SOON” to Channel Seven.
