The Grammys Red Carpet Was Either Lockdown Fashion Or Dua Lipa Looking So Hot I Cried

The Grammy Awards / Grammys

The red carpet is back, baby!!! The 63rd Grammy Awards is in full swing and I’m happy to report the red carpet is a mix of lockdown fashion and HOT-HOT-HOT. And by the latter I absolutely mean Dua Lipa, plus her entire Grammys performance.

Here are a slew of looks from the (socially distanced) 2021 Grammy Awards. It almost feels normal.

Harry Styles

Oh look, art.

Harry took home the gong for Best Pop Solo performance. He’s also been nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album for Fine Line.

Also, if you haven’t watched his performance yet. Do so now immediately.

BRB, digging out my old boa.

Billie Eilish

One year after winning big at the event, Billie rocked up to the Grammys in a Gucci tie-die suit, paired with a matching bucket hat, and her classic green highlights.

Billie was nominated for a handful of Grammys this year, including Record of the Year for ‘Everything I Wanted’. She also performed the song alongside her brother, Finneas O’Connell.

Lizzo stunned in a a ruched, mint, strapless Balmain number, paired with gorg Bvlgari jewels and Stuart Weitzman sandals.

Once again, my breath has been taken away.

Bad Bunny

I am absolutely obsessed with the beanie (?).

Lockdown, but make it fashion.

Dua Lipa

As I wrote this, Dua Lipa started performing and she just-my god, she’s so incredible.

Whenever the Grammys upload her performance to YouTube, I will be on it like a bad rash.

ANYWAY, Dua wore a Versace butterfly gown on the red carpet. Some people have already made the connection to Christina Aguilera‘s iconic silver butterfly dress from the 2000 Grammys. It was also designed by Versace, according to W Magazine.

As my colleague Louie Costello just told me, “She is BEYOND”.

Dua was up for six nominations including Album of the Year for Future Nostalgia.

I am extremely here for H.E.R.’s beaded Dundas World velvet robe. I want it, I need it, I want to rub my face on it.

H.E.R. was nominated for Song of the Year for ‘I Can’t Breathe’, and WON.

Kevin Parker

Kevin got all dressed up at home in Perth for the Grammys (because of the ol’ pandemic situation).

AlanaDanielle, and Este Haim came dressed in custom Prada, and I just cannot look away from the kitten heels. At least I think they’re kitten, I can just see a bit of heel.

The Haim sisters were nominated for Album of the Year for Women in Music Pt. III.

Megan Thee Stallion

Best ! New ! Artist !

Megan wore Dolce & Gabbana and completed her looks with jewels by Chopard.

Taylor Swift

Taylor, who is up for six noms, wore a very Folklore dress to the Grammys.

For her performance, they built a whole cottagecore set and it brought me right back to listening to Folklore under the covers in lockdown. Good times.

Noah Cyrus

I don’t know what Noah was wearing, but it looks like an absolute punch-to-the-balls to clean.

Noah was nominated for Best New Artist, alongside Doja Cat and Phoebe Bridgers.

Speaking of which.

Doja Cat

Neon feathers, leather, and that zip. I’m getting mad JLo vibes, you know what I’m talking about – JLo’s green jungle Versace dress from the 2000 Grammys.

Doja was nominated for Best New Artist, Best Record, and Best Pop Solo Performance.

Phoebe Bridgers

The ‘Kyoto’ singer wore a signature skeleton gown designed by Thom Browne.

I would wear this to all of my Zoom meetings if I could.
