Google are Sending Out Business Cards to Real-Life Pokémon Masters

This year, Google played a pretty impressive April Fools’ Day prank, updating its maps with various Pokémon that users could search for and catch. They said at the time that they were looking to hire “Pokémon Masters”, and while nobody has thus far managed to get a job out of it, those who successfully managed to catch ’em all have begun receiving business cards in the mail, as proof of their dedication.

A Reddit user called tinygrump received a letter of congratulation from Google last week, along with ten business cards. “While we don’t currently have a Pokémon Master role, we hope you enjoyed our April Fools’ Day prank,” they said. It seems that anyone who completed the challenge and supplied Google with their details can look forward to a stack of these babies some time soon.

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are out on Nintendo 3DS in November, so now the long wait for those can resume.
