While most of Taylor Swift’s famous mates have been vocal about their support of her in the brutal battle with Scooter Braun, some of her nearest and dearest have been noticeably silent.

Selena Gomez, long-time pal of Swift’s, has been probed by fans on social media over her thoughts on the sitch but she’s remained silent on the matter (her mother has spoken out though, does that count?).
Another friend of Tay being lambasted for keeping it zipped is Ed Sheeran who is directly affected by this as he’s collaborated with her twice, both on Red’s ‘Everything Has Changed’ and on Reputation’s ‘End Game’, both of which are now property of one Scooter Braun.
After Sheeran shared the below Insta piccy, fans took to the comments section to ask him about the Tay drama.
While he refused to react to the harassing fans, he ultimately decided to spill his guts when this IGer came to his defence:
“Why don’t you leave him in peace with that Taylor thing? Just because he didn’t post anything doesn’t mean he is not supporting her, maybe he’s talking with her right now, who knows. You aren’t allowed to doubt their friendship just because he didn’t say anything on the social, ’cause they’re not real life. Maybe he’s the one who has supported her the most, because they’re best friends and he didn’t waste time writing on Instagram what he could have said directly to her.”
Sheeran responded, “I have been speaking directly to her, like I always do.”
