Drake Blasts Exclusive Cali Club For “Racial Profiling” During Coachella

Despite not technically appearing on the line-up, Drake – and every other celebrity under the age of 40 – attended the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this weekend. (He did make a guest appearance at Future‘s set, though, which looked dope as hell.)

In a since-deleted Instagram post, Drizzy called out super exclusive Madison Club in nearby La Quinta for racial profiling.

“The most offensive place I have ever stayed in my life with staff who pick and choose who they are going to accommodate based on racial profiling,” he wrote.

The Madison Club – where lots sell for anything from $4 million to $10 million, and where membership fees set you back $300,000 per year, plus a joining fee of $200,000 – describes itself on its website as “the most exclusive private residential community in La Quinta, California, offering the finest golf and club facilities in an intimate and sophisticated setting.”

The post, before Drizzy smashed that delete button, attracted over 5,000 comments, including one from the club itself.

“We are trying to get this issue fixed as soon as possible,” it wrote. “Customer satisfaction is our number one priority and for you to experience such a thing is embarrassing for us.

“We are very sorry for the inconvenience and we will be issuing out a formal apology to you and the public. We will also be investigating this as we do not tolerate racial discrimination.”

We’ve reached out to The Madison Club for further comment. Meanwhile, Drake’s fans are responding in the only way they know how: by blasting the Madison Club in the reviews section.
