Real talk, Solo: A Star Wars Story should almost definitely be about Lando Calrissian instead. It should be Lando: A Star Wars Story, starring Donald Glover front-and-centre as the rogueish, debonair, morally conflicted smuggler-cum-administrator of Cloud City.
It’s not, and that’s ok we guess. But at the very least we’ve got this to remind us of what might have been.
In the lead up to the release of Solo, we have all been blessed with this glorious Donald Glover-led walkthrough of the Millennium Falcon, as it exists while in Lando’s possession.
It’s as close to a Star Wars x MTV Cribs crossover as you’re ever likely to get in your life, and it’s a seriously good time.

Unreal that he managed to slip in a classic “this is where the magic happens” line when focusing on the bed; the very same line that all your favourite early 2000s pop punk heroes uttered when they were on Cribs that made you suddenly realise that perhaps they’re not wholesome nice boys after all.
And a big shout out to Donglover for that dope-as-hell Broadway Video jumper, which means technically SNL exists in the Star Wars universe. I’m claiming it and there’s nothing you can do to stop me. Give me Stefon’s tips on the hottest new nightclubs on Zeltros IMMEDIATELY.
Seriously though, that this movie is gonna focus on anyone other than Lando is an absolute rort.
