Disney Have Cheekily Teased Luke Skywalker’s 1st Words In ‘The Last Jedi’

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is still many months away, and there’s no trailer or pics beyond the one of the red logo that everyone won’t shut the hell up about.

But Disney shareholders – the lucky pricks – got a fleeting glimpse of the first public footage of the film shown absolutely anywhere. And they’ve come out of it with some teeny tiny spoilers, as well as a vibe of how the movie looks.
It goes without saying that if you hate spoilers but were still dumb enough to click on this headline, proceed no further. Go make yourself some toast and eat it in quiet contemplation of what you imagine The Last Jedi will be be like.
Apparently, Luke’s first words to Rey are “Who are you?” Which sounds highly inconsequential and probably the first thing you would say to some chick who showed up on your weird space island after many decades, but its another tiny notch against the popular theory that Rey is Luke’s daughter.
The LA Times reporter in attendance did make a few more notes on Twitter:

Sure, there’s not a whole lot there. Worry not, though! The first trailer for The Last Jedi is expected to make its debut next month at the Star Wars Celebration – which, as you might have guessed, is like a big Star Wars nerd gala. Exciting!
