Better known as Karen O’s seamstress, designer Christian Joy joins the ever-growing Where The Wild Things Are army by crafting five monster suits influenced by Max and the Wild Things.
The fantastical NYC based designer joins retailer Opening Ceremony and jewelry designer Pamela Love as Where The Wild Things Are fashion collaborators by offering an inspired collection of Monster Costumes that could serve as Karen O’s stage wear or the ultimate hipster Halloween costume. You know, Bjork would have loved this when she was six.
The costumes will be displayed in LA’s Space 15 Twenty with a percentage of proceeds going to 826 Valencia the literacy program run by Where The Wild Things Are scribe Dave Eggers – thus completing the WTWTA circle of life.
