The real life Thor is among the next group of 35 film, TV and music stars selected for the honour.

The other honourees include Julia Roberts, Spike Lee, Elvis Costello, Cindy Crawford, Christina Applegate, Dr Phil McGraw, Laurence Fishburne, Octavia Spencer and fellow buff dude, Batman.

The new crop of honourees were chosen from hundreds of nominations.

Each nominee’s sponsor reportedly agrees to pay $US50,000 ($A72,250) to the Hollywood Historic Trust charitable foundation to have the star erected in their honour.

Who’d have thought that the cute lil blonde boi from Summer Bay would go on to become the God of Thunder, blessed with his own Hollywood star?
