While we’re not sure what’s happening just yet or why, but we are still excited as hell to report that Sarah Jessica Parker took to social media overnight to tease the return of her beloved and somewhat neurotic Sex & The City character Carrie Bradshaw.
In a brief video posted to Instagram, we hear that familiar jaunty music and see Carrie walking down a city street, having swapped her tutu for a frilly, 80s Madonna-inspired look and some lace boots. Along with the hashtag #PourItForward, she captioned the post:
“My old friend. She is making a brief reappearance. Partnering with a great brand and supporting a cause we all care about. More to come.”

What could this all mean? Well, the video doesn’t give a lot away, and while we can safely rule out some kind of promo for a Sex & The City 3, the hashtag #PourItForward leads to Water.Org, the website of a non-profit water charity founded by Matt Damon.
The charity recently teamed up with beer maker Stella Artois and artist Eili-Kaija Kussniem to produce limited edition chalices, the sale of which will go towards providing five years of clean water for families and communities in the developing world.
While Carrie Bradshaw is not a known beer drinker, this seems like the kind of cause she would get behind. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
