Cards Against Humanity Launches Free Online Version To Destroy Your Productivity

Do you enjoy whiling away your work days in a bottomless pit of certain un-productivity? Does the allure of addictive games on your phone du jour keep you awake at night? Do you literally fear for your job sometimes, simply because you seriously get absolutely nothing done? Good. Enter Cards Against Humanity‘s free online version of its cult classic card game, here to destroy your life, productivity, choices. It’s a terrible, and incredible day to be alive.

Cards Against Humanity (or: a party game for horrible people) for the sadly uninitiated, is one of Kickstarter’s most iconic and beloved successes: the premise is a fairly simple, “finish this sentence” affair in Helvetica – one card is laid out, say, for example, “A romantic dinner would be incomplete without….” and you say, “old people smell” while I say, “Emma Watson”. A winner with the subjectively best answer is crowned, and we move along. Needless to say, it’s beautiful.

Today, Cards Against Humanity has been made available online, titled “Cards Against Originality“. The gameplay stays the same, with the added bonus of being able to play on your phone, and not deal with fickle cards themselves. “It has all the cards you hate, plus all five expansions,” Cards Against Originality says. The online version isn’t an app, but is optimised for web, mobile and tablets.

Without further ado, comrades, let the games begin. RIP your job, your degree, your life.
