Regé-Jean Page Has Very Coyly Addressed Rumours He’s Dating Bridgerton Co-Star Phoebe Dynevor

Bridgerton

Like CLOCKWORK, Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page has danced around answering whether or not he’s dating co-star Phoebe Dynevor. Either way, it’s honestly just more publicity for Netflix’s giant new series.

It’s hardly a surprise the co-stars have been hit with the ‘dating rumours’ treatment, considering how horny they are onscreen together. Not to mention, fans are desperately trying to figure out the official relationship status of Page, otherwise known as Twitter’s new boyfriend.

During a joint interview with Access Hollywood over the weekend, Page was asked about whether or not any of the cast members are dating each other.

“I think that everything you need to know is on camera,” Page said, crediting the “beautiful scripts” for creating such a spark between the actors.

“I think that the sparky words, the scripts and materials are more than enough,” he added.

Make of that what you will, I guess.

Of course, host Kit Hoover egged the actors on.

“They’re blushing!” she teased, and joked that the pair were actually doing the (Zoom) interview from the same location even though they clearly weren’t.

“We’re playing footsie under here [his desk], it’s great,” Page joked in return.

Page and Dynevor maybe dating is just the latest rumour to hit the Bridgerton cast. Last week, rumours swirled that Page was in the running to play James Bond after Daniel Craig.

At one point, Ladbrokes put him at 5/1 odds to be the next Bond.

Page recently addressed the 007 rumours during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“I think the internet thinks a lot of things, and that’s one of the more pleasant ones. So I can please as far as that goes,” Page said.

“I think there might be an element of cultural translation to be done here,” he continued. “Like if you’re a Brit, and you do something of any kind of renown, that people regard well, then people start saying the ‘B’ word. It’s like a merit badge, you get the ‘B’ word merit badge.”

Page continued to downplay the rumours, adding that it’s nothing more than just the internet being the internet.

“I’m very, very glad to have the badge. I’m glad to be in such wonderful company of people who have the badge. But it’s a badge.”

Bridgerton is streaming now on Netflix.
