There’s been a whole lotta ~mystery~ surrounding upcoming Stan Original Series Bloom, aside from the fact that it’s set in Victoria, features a host of epic Aussie talent and is about recapturing your youth, and the streaming giant has just given us our first look at the show.
The cast of the 6-part mystery drama includes two-time Oscar-nominee Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook, Animal Kingdom) Bryan Brown (The Light Between Oceans, Red Dog True Blue, Gods of Egypt), Aussie darling Phoebe Tonkin (The Originals, The Vampire Diaries), yr boi Ryan Corr (Holding the Man, Hacksaw Ridge), old mate Daniel Henshall (The Babadook) and last, but defo not least, Sam Reid (’71, Prime Suspect 1973, The Railway Man).
One year after a terrible flood claims the lives of five locals, a strange new plant grows with the power to restore youth. The characters are then faced with the v. loaded question: if you could go back, would you?
