This year, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have elevated the art of giving each-other shit on social media to something truly beautiful – there was that time he cropped her out of her own birthday photo, that time she straight-up replaced him with a different Ryan, and that time he gleefully trolled her on the set of her new film.
Blake Lively’s latest Instagram post may or may not represent an attempt to get back at her husband for that last one, with a photo showing off Reynolds’ gloriously munted attempt at baking and icing a batch of Christmas cookies. It is too much for the Deadpool star to be dashing, funny and a dab hand in the kitchen? Apparently, yes it is.
“Ryan Reynolds made some cookies …” Lively wrote. “He’s verrry handsome though.” He later responded: “I wanted to be the first person to bake Christmas cookies using only a hammer.” OH STOP BEING SO ADORABLE, YOU TWO.

Last week, Reynolds took to social media to address the merger between Fox and Disney, which will see his Deadpool films come under the control of the mouse and presumably get folded into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Apparently you can’t actually blow the Matterhorn,” he wrote, alongside a photo of his character being escorted out of Disneyland. What it could mean, we have no idea, but Disney has promise that the character will keep his R-rated edge when he’s part of their cinematic stable.
