Black Swan Trailer

Here’s the first trailer for Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan a forthcoming psychological thriller which features the following: Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis locking lips, a handsome collection of Rodarte dresses, doppelgangers, ballet, creepy reflections that move of their own volition, some unnamed psychological turmoil, Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis locking lips, that same dread/claustrophobia Aronofsky channeled in his nihilistic sophomore effort Requiem For A Dream and, most notably, Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis locking lips. Also, Natalie Portman might literally turn into a Black Swan at some point? This looks bleak and stirring and bold and judging from Aronofsky’s eclectic back catalogue, steeped in blood spattered pathos. Can’t wait for this.

Official synopsis: A New York City ballet company is producing Swan Lake, and director Thomas Leroy (Vincent Cassel) decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre (Winona Ryder) with ballerina Nina (Natalie Portman). Nina lives with Erica (Barbara Hershey), her overbearing mother and a former ballerina. Nina finds competition in new dancer Lily (Mila Kunis). Swan Lake requires a ballerina who can play the innocent White Swan, which fits Nina, and the sensual Black Swan, which fits Lily. The dancers’ rivalry changes into a bizarre friendship, and Nina begins exploring a dark side of herself.
