Earlier this week, Sam Frost and Sasha Mielczarek proved that the furnaces of reality television do not burn hot enough to forge an unbreakable bond when they announced their split.
The social media users of the nation had a lot to say on the subject, and Sasha punched us right in the feelings with a subsequent Instagram post, calling Sam “beautiful in every way” and wishing her all the best.
Until now, Frost had only spoken out via a joint statement issued through her publicist, but earlier today, she herself took to Instagram to say a few words, and well, yes …
“This facial expression pretty much sums up my 2016,” she wrote. “Happy New [Year] legends. Now let’s all put our hands in the middle and make a virtual pact, not to be so hard on ourselves when we inevitably screw up in 2017 in the first few days.”
As someone who makes this face almost constantly, I feel her pain.
The Bachelor and The Bachelorette will be back to toy with our emotions all over again in 2017.
