The comedian and Master of None creator will debut new comedy special Aziz Ansari: Right Now on July 9, over a year after he faced a highly-publicised accusation of sexual misconduct.

You can watch a trailer for the Spike Jonze-directed special below:

The announcement comes some eighteen months after an anonymous woman accused the comedian of sexual assault.

Ansari denied the accusation, saying he believed their sexual activity was “completely consensual,” but withdrew from public appearances and stand-up gigs.

After a small string of club shows earlier this year, Ansari announced a full stage tour, including dates in Australia last month.

Reviewers said his show touched on the allegation, and that the comic told the audience the accusation “made me think about a lot, and I hope I’ve become a better person.”

Netflix VP Cindy Holland said last year the streaming platform would be open to a third season of Master of None, but that project is yet to be confirmed.
