Azealia Banks Has Turned Her Dead Cat’s Bones Into Jewellery After Digging Up Its Remains On IG

Rapper Azealia Banks went viral last week after sharing an Instagram video where she appears to dig up her dead cat and boil its remains.

Now, she has shared a subsequent video, claiming that she plans to make earrings out of her dead cat Lucifer’s jaw bones.

“After the peroxide bath, here is Lucifer’s jaw,” Azealia Banks said while posing with them as earrings.

“Titanium cat jaw earcuffs with a slick arianny full lacewig pony… That’s fashion.”

Azealia Banks is currently moving from California to Miami after her Woodland Hills home went into foreclosure, according to the “bankruptcy sale” listing posted on Realtor.com, which describes the home as a “fixer-upper.”

Banks has been packing up her things to prepare for the move and last on the list was the remains of her three-months-passed cat, Lucifer.

“The cat went out with a fucking bang. Taking my bitch to Miami,” she says in an interview video as she digs up her cat and boils its remains.

She said she wanted to bring the animal “back to life.”

This is not the first time Azealia Banks has posted grotesque imagery like this on social media. Back in 2016, she shared a video of herself cleaning a closet covered in what appeared to be dried blood and feathers as part of her “brujeria” (the Spanish word for witchcraft).

In the video, she’s seen cleaning a dirty closet with a sander, saying: “You know I gotta scrape all this shit up. I got my sandblaster and my goggles. It’s about to go down.”

She continued later in the same Instagram story, “Real witches do real things.”

Banks was called out by singer Aussie Sia, who is a long-standing animal rights activist, who tweeted “sacrificing animals is the wackiest shit I’ve ever heard. Get ahead by being awesome, kind, and working hard.”

Azealia saw her tweet and fired back, saying “HAVE SOME FUCKING RESPECT FOR MY TRADITIONAL AFRICAN RELIGION.”

Yikes.
