AWWW: Patton Oswalt And Meredith Salenger AKA ‘Nattatouile’ Are Engaged

GOOD NEWS! WE HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS! There’s a light of shining good stuff in this otherwise bleak world, and that is the fact that Patton Oswalt and Meredith Salenger are engaged.

The couple only went public last month, at the ‘Baby Driver‘ premiere in LA. Salenger is the first person Oswalt has publicly dated since the sudden death of his late wife, Michelle McNamara, in April last year.

She’s been teasing the engagement on Instagram for the last 24 hours or so. 

“Once upon a time…. in 2008… at my friend’s wedding… I caught the bouquet,” she said in one, obviously posting a pic of her catching the bouquet like a goddamn queen.

And then in another, she photoshopped Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson onto her finger, asking followers to “check out the size of The Rock” on her finger. Please, if/when I get engaged, let me be this extra.

Then, FINALLY, she revealed that yeah, these two extremely cute kids were gonna get married. She even gave a shout-out to Alice Oswalt, Patton’s daughter by McNamara. I’M NOT CRYING



Honestly these two are just giant cute nerds and I love it.



Like, huge, huge giant ‘Star Wars‘ nerds.



And also: fans of The Rock, which pretty much everyone in the world can relate to.



Once upon a time, Salenger starred in Disney‘s ‘The Journey of Natty Gann‘, and Oswalt of course voiced Remy in ‘Ratatouille‘ (also Disney), so they already have a couple portmanteau kinda worked out.
